RULES AND REGULATIONS

Welcome to the MVP Virtual Airshows Rules and Regulations for 2021/22.  Virtual Airshows is the
DCS World's permier virtual airshow events platform.  For over 17 years we have

delivered interactive and exciting virtual airshow entertainment via online livestream.

PERFORMER REGISTRATIONS

Virtual AIrshows requires all performers to complete an online registration to participate, confirming
that you accept the Virtual Airshows Rules & Regulations, along with understanding your
obligations as a performer.  You can register at:  www.portal.virtualairshows.org

PERFORMER AGE REQUIREMENTS

Virtual Airshows does not impose a minimum or maximum age limit for our events. 
However, performers who are under the age of 18 years, must download and submit a completed

VA Parental and/or Guardian Consent Form to participate.

PERFORMER CONDUCT

The VA Staff strictly prohibits the following behavior: bullying, aggressive behavior, slanderous
comments,libelous writings, insulting language including both spoken and written.

LIVE PERFORMANCES ONLY

Virtual Airshows are performed live before an audience. All performers must simultaneously
perform and stream their production in real time to the audience. It is not permissible for any team
or solo to substitute a live performance with a replay of a previously recorded
track, video, or other production without the explicit permission of Virtual Airshows.

 


QUALITY ASSURANCE
All performers whether a solo or team are required to participate in a Quality Assurance check.
At the discretion of Virtual Airshows, performers may be invited to participate in a live-server display,
provide a track, a livestream, or a video for review.  Virtual Airshows will evaluate your submission prior to
inviting your team/solo to perform.

OFFICIAL , ENDORSED & ORIGINAL TEAMS

Virtual Airshows recognizes both Official, Endorsed and Original Teams within the
community and works to ensure these teams are given due priority to perform at all of our events. 
Official, Endorsed and Original Teams are required to submit a completed

VA Official, Endorsed & Original Team Form providing confirmation of their status.

UNOFFICIAL TRIBUTE TEAMS

Virtual Airshows works with a wide variety of unofficial tribute teams that replicate both
military and civilian performances.  All unofficial teams are welcomed and encouraged to register
and to perform at our Virtual Airshows events. 

 

From time to time, we may receive applications from
competing unofficial teams to peform similar displays, with teams selected for performance
on the following criteria:


1.  Quality of performance verified through the VA Quality Control check process
2.  Review of the team Social Media and Streaming history
3.  Assessment of the Ambassadorship of the team
4.  Interview with Team Representatives

 

AEROBATIC & NON AEROBATIC DISPLAYS

Virtual Airshows accepts both aerobatic and non-aerobatic displays for our events.  We encourage
performers of the need for air displays to be entertaining and engaging.

 

 

MAX PERFORMANCE LENGTH

Virtual Airshows limits a performance to a maximum of 60 minutes for teams and
20 minutes for solo displays.

PERFORMANCE MUSIC

Copyright music is subject to a range of social media and streaming service restrictions.  Performances that
use copyright music may not be available in the post-event videos and other event materials. 
Virtual Airshows encourages peformers to source copyright free music, to avoid potential digital rights management conflicts.

STREAMING REQUIREMENTS

Performers who have elected to stream their own virtual air displays, must meet the following
minimum streaming requirements;

1.  1920 x 1080 (1080p) Resolution
2. 60fps Output
3.  Audio Quality (to be advised)
4.  Minimum of 5,000Kbs Broadcast Output

- You guarantee to stream only the content you own. (exception is made with music)

 

- the limit of B-roll / Introduction is set to 1 minute.

 

- The promotion of potential partners is prohibited before and after your demonstration.
(A trade agreement may be concluded.)

 

- A commercial overlay is prohibited during your presentation.
(In-game visual promotion is permitted.)

 

- VA shows are performed live before an audience. All acts must simultaneously perform
and stream their production in real time to the audience. It is not permissible for any
team or solo to substitute a live performance with a replay of a previously recorded track,
video, or other production without the explicit permission of the VA staff.

 

- The content streamer must be the same content as the Quality control, no spontaneous
changes are allowed.

 

- You are responsible for the streamed content, if it should violate our rules, we reserve the
right to cut it off at any time. . The use of weapons is strictly forbidden

VIRTUAL AIRSHOWS SPONSORS

Virtual Airshows event sponsors have absolute priority.

PERFORMER AND TEAM SPONSORS

Case by case basis.

Managing conflicts with event sponsors etc.

 


 

PERFORMER CANCELLATION

Virtual Airshows understands that performers may for unforseen reasons be required to cancel
their participation in an event.  We encourage performers to keep the Virtual Airshows event
team informed of any cancellations and the reason or cause for such action.

LAST MINUTE (24HOUR) CANCELLATION

Should a performer cancel their participation within 24 hours of their schedule Virtual Airshows
event, the performer (on a case by case basis) may be referred to the VA Airshow Commitee for review -  
The outcome of this review may include a ban on participating at future Virtual Airshows
events for a period of 1 year.

PERFORMER NO SHOW

Should a performer fail to appear (no show) or fail to perform their scheduled Virtual Airshows performance,
the performer will be referred to the VA Airshow Commitee for review - on a case by case basis. 

The outcome of this review may include a  ban on participating at future Virtual Airshows
 events for a period of 1 year.

BLACKLISTED PERFORMERS

Performers who have been blacklisted within any of the MVP Group organisations may still apply to perfrom,
however, their application will be subject to a full review of the VA Airshow Committee.
